The Grand Canyon truly is one of the world’s natural wonders. Awe-inspiring views await you around each corner while opportunities to hike, rock climb, and raft abound, making for the trip of a lifetime! Local guides will explain the Canyon’s fascinating history and geology to your students in this incredible outdoor classroom. Groups can arrive/depart from Las Vegas or Phoenix. Traveling with friends and classmates has never been so exciting!

  • Spend the day in breathtaking Zion National Park
    • Hike the Pa'rus Trail
    • Zion Lodge
    • Grotto, Kayenta, and Lower Emerald Pools trails as time permits

  • Visit the unique rock formation Checkerboard Mesa
  • Visit Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park
  • Dinner

DAY THREE

  • Hike the Toadstools
  • Visit world-famous Horseshoe Bend
  • Embark on still water float trip on Colorado River
  • Lunch on the river
  • Walk across Navajo Bridge (time permitting)
  • Visit Sunset Crater Volcano and the Native American Ruins at Wupatki National Monument
  • Dinner
  • Climbing at indoor gym with group
  • Check into hotel in Flagstaff, AZ

  • Visit Canyon View Information Plaza
  • Hike the South Kaibab Trail

  • Desert View Watch Tower
  • Cameron Trading Post
  • Dinner
  • Return to hotel

DAY FIVE

  • Depart for Sedona, AZ
  • Visit the natural waterslides at Slide Rock State Park
  • Lunch
  • Depart for Las Vegas
  • Eat dinner at the Cafe Hollywood
  • Walk The Strip of Las Vegas Blvd to the Bellagio for the Fountains of Bellagio Show
  • Depart for airport

DAY ONE

  • Depart for Sedona, AZ
  • Hike near Sedona
  • Lunch
  • Slide Rock State Park: Weather permitting, swim in natural waterslide at Oak Creek
  • Free time and dinner
  • Depart for Flagstaff
  • Lowell Observatory- Star gaze thru the telescope that discovered Pluto
  • Return to hotel


DAY TWO

  • Hotel breakfast
  • Depart for Sunset Crater Volcano and Wupatki National Monuments - Marvel at the volcanic crater formed almost 1000 years ago and visit what was once home to many farmers and traders over the last 1000 years
  • Depart for Page, AZ
  • Lunch
  • Float trip on Colorado River- Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Glen Canyon while floating down the Colorado River
  • Walk across Navajo Bridge (time permitting)
  • Dinner
  • Rock climbing at an indoor gym - Challlenge yourself to scale the walls at this indoor facility in downtown Flagstaff
  • Return to hotel


DAY THREE

  • Hotel breakfast
  • Depart for Grand Canyon East Entrance
  • Working toward the south rim with canyon guide featuring stops at:
    • Cameron Trading Post - Shop for your favorite Grand Canyon souvenirs at this historical trading post built in 1911
    • Desert View Watch Tower - Climb to the highest point on the south rim with spectacular views of the Grand Canyon, Colorado River and Painted Desert
    • Lunch
    • Hike the rim or South Kaibab Trail (hikes will be based on ability)
    • Canyon View Information Plaza
    • Mather Point
  • Dinner
  • Depart for home
