After a 34-year career teaching middle school science in upstate New York, Lisa Meschutt continues to inspire curiosity through travel. Since partnering with Grand Classroom in 2004, she has organized annual Grand Canyon trips for more than 50 eighth-grade students each year and coordinated educational travel experiences to Yosemite, Yellowstone, Alaska, and Washington, D.C. She believes some of life's most meaningful lessons are learned far beyond the classroom.
Through her GrandCanyonLady YouTube channel and social media platforms, Lisa shares stories, travel tips, and insights from more than two decades of educational travel. When she's not planning her next adventure, she volunteers with a local animal rescue and is a TEDx speaker whose presentations focus on resilience, curiosity, and personal growth.
