After years of performing educational animal shows as a Zookeeper, Abigail found her niche as a science teacher in Florida. She taught middle school for seven years before joining the Grand Classroom team. Abigail grew up in the Chicagoland area inspired by wanderlust and eager to begin traveling the world. In college she studied abroad in Australia, Thailand, and volunteered at an animal shelter in Ecuador. There she was offered an opportunity to work alongside the tortoises in the Galapagos islands. She eventually returned to Illinois to finish her degree in Zoology declaring her passion for animals. When briefly living in Montana, Abigail grew fond of exploring National parks while discovering Yellowstone and Glacier. Soon after, she continued her expedition by taking on the road in a motorhome. Her journey led her close to the beach in Florida where she likes to spend her free time kayaking, scuba diving, and dancing to live music.
