Billy joined the Grand Classroom crew as a seasonal guide in 2011 and has been fulltime salesperson since 2013. A self-proclaimed “beach bum” and Florida guide extraordinaire, this New York transplant grew up on the South Shore of Long Island. He graduated with a BS in Environmental Sciences from the University of Buffalo, NY where he played football. He quickly fled to warmer climates and has been a Florida native ever since. Prior to Grand Classroom, Billy was a biologist in the Florida Keys, Turks and Caicos Islands and High School Science Teacher in Sarasota/Bradenton where he currently resides. In his free time he can often be found relaxing on the beautiful white sand Beaches of Anna Maria Island, Fishing, Kayaking, SCUBA Diving, Wrestling Alligators, Catching Pythons in the Everglades and Hanging with “The Cat Man” In Key West.
