Steve comes to Grand Classroom with many, many years of experience in student travel. He has extensive knowledge of all aspects of the industry and is an excellent resource for our customers and staff. In the many years that Steve has been working with student groups, he has seen many stories unfold; some comedies, some dramas and some action/adventures-but mostly he's seen heartwarming stories of students having the time of their lives and enjoying the experience of travel with their friends! Steve is enjoying married life with his lovely wife, Cristi, and living the American dream! They have a daughter, Emerson, who is in full on “sullen teenager” mode, more than happy to spend the day with her nose inches away from her phone and their son, Jake, is excited to try any and all sports imaginable. To round out the household, they have two dogs (Pepper and Cookie), one guinea pig (Gingerbread), one hermit crab (Candy) and four goldfish (Baxter, Spot, Goldie and Bob). When away from the office, Steve is usually hanging out with the family, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs, following his alma mater James Madison University's football and basketball teams, and performing Shakespeare plays with the neighborhood children.
