Yosemite Six-Day Photography Tour

DAY ONE

• Depart from home airport arriving 2 hours before flight
• Arrive Reno, NV
• Group meets Grand Classroom representative at baggage claim
• Depart for Lake Tahoe, stopping for photo opportunities and lunch along the route
• Shoot Lake Tahoe at sunset
• Dinner at Lake Tahoe
• Check into hotel

DAY TWO

• Hotel Breakfast
• AM shoot of Lake Tahoe
• Shoot high country meadows near Kirkwood Ski Resort
• Lunch en route
• Arrive Bodie State Historic Site
• Setup and shoot this true ghost town
• Dinner en route to hotel in Mammoth
• Check in

DAY THREE

• Hotel Breakfast
• Shoot Mammoth Lakes loop and June Lake Loop
• Motor to Yosemite, lunch en route
• Afternoon shoot in Tuolumme Meadows
• Motor to Yosemite Village
• Dinner, check into Curry Village

DAY FOUR

• Hotel Breakfast
• Morning tour of Yosemite Valley with shots at:
• Half Dome
• Yosemite Falls
• El Capitan
• Bridalveil Fall
• Lunch
• Afternoon hike and shoot at Giant Sequoia Grove
• Motor to Glacier Point for sunset photo shoot
• Optional: Hike the Four Mile Trail to Glacier and meet motor coach
• Motor back to Curry Village
• Dinner/Hotel

DAY FIVE

• Optional sunrise photo shoot
• Breakfast
• Free time in Village including the Ansel Adams Gallery
• Lunch
• Hike and shoot along the mist trail to Vernal and Nevada Falls
• Return to Village
• Dinner
• Free time to shoot at sunset

DAY SIX

• Hotel breakfast
• Depart Valley and shoot along Tioga Road
• Mono Lake photo shoot
• Motor to Reno with stops in between, lunch and dinner en route
• Red eye flight home this evening
• Arrive home in am
