DAY ONE

• Depart from school
• Meet your Grand Classroom guide when you arrive
• Hike in Great Smoky Mt. National Park with guide learning about the local environment
• Outdoor learning activities and fun games to become more acquainted with the area
• Dinner
• Check into hotel in Gatlinburg, TN
• Optional swim time at hotel pool

DAY TWO

• White water rafting on the Pigeon River
• Lunch
• Zipline Adventure
• Hike to overlooks in the Great Smoky Mt. National Park
• Wildlife (and insect) observation time with lessons on tracks and scat!
• Dinner
• Gift Shopping in Gatlinburg
• Return to hotel

DAY THREE

• Tour Great Smoky Mountains
• Attend National Park Service Educational Ranger Program
• Tour Park Visitor Center
• Lunch
• Lessons and exercises on mapping
• Afternoon guided hike to learn about riparian environments
• Gondola ride into the mountains near Gatlinburg, TN
• Depart for home - dinner en route
