Yosemite

Yosemite National Park is an incredible World Heritage Site, internationally recognized for its spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls, and Giant Sequoia groves. Your students will learn about amazing geological processes firsthand, as our tour guides explain the uplift that created Yosemite’s dramatic landscape over 10 million years ago. Students will also hear about the history of environmental stewardship in America, discovering how John Muir’s efforts in Yosemite Valley began the national parks’ movement.

Highlights of the trip include the scenic Half Dome, El Capitan, Mirror Lake, and Tuolumne Meadows. Best of all, your group will get to experience Yosemite’s treasures up close, hiking the Mist Trail to Vernal and Nevada Falls and/or exploring Lembert Dome. Yosemite is an experience not to be missed!

For groups flying in and out of San Francisco, there are also opportunities to explore the Bay Area. Biking across the Golden Gate Bridge, visiting Angel Island, or cruising to Alcatraz are all exciting experiences you can add to your trip!
