I was definitely a late bloomer to travel. It wasn't until I was in my 20's that I had the financial means to begin to explore the world. My first big trip was to the Grand Canyon and I will never forget the physical reaction I had to its absolute vastness and beauty. I actually cried, as I am now learning so many do. I have had the privilege of expanding my travel opportunities significantly since then, and It has been one of the biggest joys of my life.
But nothing has been better than introducing our children to Europe, Israel, the Caribbean, Russia, and, of course, the U.S.!. Their world is so much bigger than mine ever was. Being exposed to other cultures, religions, histories and even natural beauty has made them open-minded, inclusive, curious and very interesting people!
